These are some of the things
you can do to prevent dehydration:
It may take as little as
15 minutes for you to become dehydrated on a hot day. If
you are dehydrated, you may notice the following:
If you notice any of these
symptoms, take a break and drink plenty of fluids.
If you don't drink enough
fluids, you may experience the following symptoms:
- Fatigue
- Dizziness
- Nausea or vomiting
- Headache
- Rapid and shallow breathing
- High temperature
- Rapid heart rate
- Decreased alertness or complete loss
of consciousness
If you experience any of these symptoms,
seek shade or air conditioning, and cool off. Pouring
water on your head and neck, or immersing your hands in
water above the wrists will help you cool off. Drink
plenty of fluids and eat a banana to help replenish the
fluids you have lost through your sweat.

HOW TO PREVENT FROM DYING OF STARVATION?
Fruits
growing on fruit trees can be eaten once they are ripe.
Examples are a yellow banana. If the fruit is yellow,
it is edible. If it is in other colors, it shows that
it is poisoned or it is still not ready to eat. So most
of the trees growing there are fruit trees, so fruits
can be obtained and be eaten. If there is a beach nearby,
the stranded person can use a thick stick and go into
the sea and catch either a fish or a squid if you are
lucky. To catch a fish you have to use the thick stick
and spear it through the fish. After catching the fish
you have to start making the fire. To make the fire first
thing to do is to get a few logs and also a few dry leaves
as well. If you have a matchstick, use it to make the
fire the dry leaves. Alternately if you do not have the
matchsticks, use two stones and rub them against each
other. When the two stones rub against each other, friction
is caused.this, in return, causes sparks to be made.
When the making of the sparks increases slowly, place
the dry leaves below the stones where the sparks are
made. The sparks will then fall on the leaves and the
leaves will catch fire. After they catch fire, place
the logs next to the leaves and soon the logs will start
burning. Then slowly one by one, place each log near
each burning log and soon, there will be a fire. Then
use the fire to cook the fish.

HOW TO PREVENT TURNING
MAD DUE TO LONELINESS?
When boredom is experienced
it is a sign that the survivor is not grasping the seriousness
of the situation, and therefore is not going about the
business of systematic survival. It can also be a sign
of a lack of the most powerful survival tool¡ªthe will
to live. People unfamiliar with nature tend to become
bored faster than those who have a practical understanding
of the environment they are in. Those who know the woods,
swamp, mountains, or desert that they are "stranded" in
tend to pick up on important, beneficial information
faster than those who feel intimidated or otherwise uncomfortable
in their surroundings.
Loneliness is very common. Man is by nature
a social animal¡ªwe crave human companionship. When you
feel lonely you may become forlorn, which can lead to a
feeling of helplessness. Just because you are alone doesn't
mean you must be lonely.
The key to dealing with both of these threats
is useful activity. The busier you are, the less bored
and lonely you will feel. When you think that nothing else
can be done to increase the chances of your getting out
alive, reevaluate and think again. There is always something
practical to be done when trying to survive. Always.

HOW TO ALERT
PASSING SHIPS OR AIR PLANES?
Most of the people stranded on an island
try to communicate people who travel long distances to
get them to rescue them. Some of them succeed while others
cannot succeed. Some other people who live by the saying¡±
practice makes perfect¡± and they try again. And eventually
they succeed and get to get back to their home in any part
of the great world. Another way is to start a fire by using
two stones and rubbing them with each other. In return
there will be sparks. Then place lots of dry leaves under
the two stones which produce sparks. The leaves will then
catch fire. Then place logs one by one and wait for them
to burn. After some time, you should be able to catch fire
and the fire is then started. If a gust of wind blows away
the fire, you just have to blow very hard and then the
fire will continue to blow. After you finished making the
fire, you have to produce lots of smoke, which will eventually
go up to the air and hopefully an air vehicle will spot
the smoke and would come to the island.

HOW TO SET A FIRE?
It is not really easy to start a fire,
especially when you are stranded on an island. If stranded
on an island first, try to get dry leaves, lots of them.
then take two large stones and make them rub against each
other. in return, the two stones produce friction, which
in return, produces sparks. Then what you have to do is
to place a few leaves that are enough to cover the space
of the two stones. the sparks produced by the two stones
will then fall on the leaves and the leaves will then catch
fire. Slowly put more leaves as fast as possible. after
they all catch fire, place a few logs, one by one, so that
they can slowly catch fire after they all catch fire your
making of a fire is complete.
