website is all about the islands around Singapore. Islands
though are usually small and often inhabited, their
existence however are of significant
value. For example, their presence helps define the water borders of
Singapore.
The
purpose of this site is to educate the public
about these islands
around Singapore.We will be focusing on some islands
only since not all islands
in Singapore can be visited. Most of the islands are used for industrial
purposes and closed for public.
You
can surf our sites by topical route or island
route. On
topical route, you will find the names
of all the islands around Singapore. While on island
route, we focus on 6 major islands. There are Pulau Ubin,
Kusu
Island, Sentosa Island, St. John's Island, Sisters' Island
and Pulau Hantu.Please read below for more information.

Pulau
Ubin
Pulau ubin is a very popular place known to many Singaporeans as it is known
for lesuire activities. Many people go there for camping or cycling.
Kusu
Island
Kusu Island itself is fairly small. The Island's theme is turtle-based, and
there is a turtle pond near the temple.
Sentosa
Island
Sentosa is an island located to the south of Singapore, it is one of the most
developed island dedicated to the tourism industry of Singapore.
St.
John's Island Situated
approximately 6.5km south of Singapore, St John's Island
(previously known as Pulau Sekijang Bendara) makes an idyllic
getaway to get a glorious tan, have a picnic on the sandy
beach, explore off-beaten treks around the island or simply
laze away by the lagoon.
