There were three main phases involved in completing this website:
- Research - At our first meeting, we constructed a web map of the site to guide our work. Team members were assigned particularly topics according to their interests. Several weeks were spent on canvassing through resource after resource and writing the texts.
- Design - Together, the team decided how the general layout of the site should appear. It was then up to Peter, our lead web developer, to construct the template. He was assisted by Ray and Jenny, who furnished the header and icons for the template. Flash movies were also made by Ray with input from the team. After the design was done, we inserted each members' writing onto the appropriate page. Graphics, quizzes, and all supplementary material were also created. The last step was translation, which proved to be moderately difficult.
- Review - Once the majority of the site was complete, the team reviewed each page to check for grammatical, spelling, mechanics, usage, and technical errors to deliver a high quality educational website.
