WORLD HUNGER
World population is increasing. Not just that, the farming land is decreasing day by day. So - more people, less food. While we sit in our schools and homes designing web sites, thinking of our next soccer game, watching TV , or studying for our tests- the world around us is not in too good shape. Hunger and poverty are all around us. According to the  United Nations estimates  the world population will reach 7.7 billion by 2020! Most of the population growth is in places with lots of poverty and developing countries. In these countries lack of food is already a problem, so when population increases it will get even worse. Land neede for food production is decreasing. Improving farming and crop production can help developing countries produce enough food.  Phosphate industry can help by producing enough good fertilizers to help with crops around the world.

SO HOW CAN YOU HELP:

One of the main ways to help the people in developing countries is to teach them how to be independent. That means that instead of just sending food, people in those countries are given skills and tools to take care of themelves. In order to do that they need to learn how to grow their own food and become self-sufficient.
