We are a group of fourth grade students who all attend the same school in Magna, Utah. Most of us have known each other for several years. We were chosen to be on a Thinkquest team by our teachers and Mrs. Hamilton our coach. Three of us were also on a team last year and won first place in the state division.

We split up the work evenly with each of taking an event that happened during World War II and researched it as well as a child that lived through that event. We each also read the book Number the Stars as well as two picture books about World War II. We each created the webpages for our event and person as well as others needed. We decided as a team what our website would look like and contributed to the design of our homepage.

Mrs. Hamilton helped guide us in the planning of our website and in finding the information we needed. She taught us how to use Dreamweaver to create our webpages. Mrs. Hamilton and Mrs. Gale read our rough drafts and taught us with the writing process. She also helped us with typing and creating the menu pages.

We met as a team three days a week for one hour at a time. We are on a year round schedule and chose to come in during our off track time also to work on our site. Since we all go to the same school we were able to met in our computer lab.

We really had fun creating this site and hope you enjoy it as well as learn something from it.
