Production of Laser

The diagram shown below shows a pair of reflectors. The emitted photons reflect to and fro between the pair of reflectors and during this process they cause electrons to emit photons. When the number of photons increases the partial reflector allows the laser light to pass through.

As we now know what laser are, let us proceed further and see how lasers help in propulsion of rockets.
