Jupiter icy moon orbiter

@Nasa (Icy moon orbiter)

NASA is planning an ambitious mission to orbit the three planet-sized moons of Jupiter, namely, Callisto, Ganymede and Europa. These moons may have vast oceans beneath their icy surfaces. The mission, known as the Jupiter Icy Moons Orbiter, would orbit each of these moons for detailed examination of their constituents, history and ability to sustain life.

Why these moons?
From the evidence gathered from NASA's Galileo, Jupiter's moons seem to have the basic necessities to sustain life, that are, water, energy and the necessary chemical contents. Observations of Callisto and Ganymede would help to provide the answers to the puzzle of the evolution of the three moons and would help to fulfill NASA's main goal of exploring the universe and searching for life.

Let us see when NASA proposes to launch this spacecraft and its objectives.
