| There are many
threatening, invasive plants that can disrupt habitats, further
the endangerment of already threatened animals and plants and
can pass on exotic diseases to native plants and animals. These
dangerous plants can completely destroy the nature's ecological
balance. For example, the Japanese honeysuckle is a harmful plant
that came from Asia to North America like many other invasive
species. This plant has already made its way into half of the
United States of America. Once the Japanese honeysuckle gets
distributed to a place it can appear to be a harmless pretty
plant. However, it spreads so fast that it can completely cover
the ground and "choke" it. That's only one of the invasive
species that thrives in North America. Click on one of the links
