Not known, but an eastern style.
Story - Ryo-Wo sent a jellyfish to go get a monkey's liver for its dinner. The jellyfish got the monkey but then the monkey told the jellyfish that it left its liver on land and would get it and come back as soon as possible. The monkey never came back o the jellyfish went back open handed and got squished into the shape it is today.
