What Are Dragons Like in this culture?
The dragons in this country were mean dragons. They ate people for dinner.
What do they look like?
The dragons are as big as a calf and their head and horn look and are like a deer or a goat. Their eyes are red like fire and their beard is like a tiger and their face look like a man. Also their body is covered with scales. Their tail is so long it can fit around almost its whole body.
Legend of the Piasa
In 1673 7 explorers went exploring for a waterway to the Pacific Ocean. When they reached the Mississippi River they saw on the side of a limestone cliff a drawing of a creature. They also figured out that the Algonquin Indians had drew it.
The Piasa dragons got along with humans. He was friends with them. One day he found a dead human and tasted a little bit and he liked it. So from them on he would eat people and bring them home to have for dinner.
