Interview - Steps Kids can Take to Help End Exploitative Child Labor (recommended by Ms. Sally Bachman)

  • Invite a speaker to come to your school to talk about child labor. This will help to educate the students in the school about child labor and the issues surrounding it.
  • Help raise money for a school somewhere. This way, kids who would otherwise grow up without a formal education will be able to get one.
  • Educate yourself about child labor. Explore this site. Also, take a look at Ms. Bachman’s recommended websites, or check out the links (link) section of this site to find out more.
  • Discuss child labor with your family and friends. Download our survey and you and a friend complete it. Compare your answers and discuss them.
  • Join a child labor organization. You can find some of their webpages in the links section of this site. One good organization is Free the Children. This organization was founded by a 12-year-old and is very interested in getting kids involved in stopping child labor, making it a perfect choice.
