While many solutions to child labor may involve governments, international laws, and child labor inspectors who are actually in third-world countries where most “bad” child labor is, there are still things that kids can do to help end “bad” child labor.
One of the most important things anyone can do to help end “bad” child labor is to learn more about it. Visit our links page or Ms. Sally Bachman’s recommended websites page to find great links to places where you can learn more about child labor.
Another way to educate yourself is to ask yourself some ethical questions about child labor. Some of these types of questions appear on our survey. Take it and discuss the answers with a friend or your family for a greater understanding on some complex issues of child labor.
Joining an anti-child labor organization is also helpful in ending “bad” child labor. There are many such organizations today, including one that is designed specifically for kids – Free the Children. You can go to their website here.
