Paul and Jared met at Oceanside Middle School where they are currently class mates. Paul did most of the research and writing on the topic, while Jared did most of the html and putting it together. Paul and Jared meet every other day in a class called Discovery. They meet at the library and often at each others houses.
With the use of Yahoo! Geocities HTML EDITER and HTML assistance from Mr. Noah Glass (Band teacher at Oceanside Middle School) the site was created. We had also used Microsoft Power-point to create our Flash intro.We used OpenOffice in order to convert the Power-point into a flash file (.swf). Karen Blank of LIAF (Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation) has worked with us and talked to us about how the watch will work. Mr. Steven Spinner, the owner of Sentry Alarm Systems, inspired us to enter into this competition because he has shown an interest in our prototype The Alzheimer's VMD. We think this competition would be a great way to introduce our product. |
