Challenges Encountered

One of the major challenges the team faced included the need to balance their time. We had to juggle our time with an array of extra curricular activities, examinations, continuous assessment tests, our social lives and other commitments.

Another challenge the team faced was that during the holiday months of November and December 2003, we had to collaborate online because Rex was back in Brunei while Michael was back in Indonesia . The team had to use email and MSN messenger to arrange for meetings, discussions, brainstorming and proceeding with the webpage. This wasn't always feasible as internet connections in Indonesia could be a little spotty at times and arranging for a time where all could meet together wasn't easy

Another difficulty encountered was that in the month of January 2004, the school had shifted to a new temporary holding school. The facilities in the school were not as good and internet connection was only available in early February. This had slowed the progress of our project and the team members had to resort to working from home at odd hours at times

However, in the end the team felt that the wonderful experience collaborating with the team members and with SATA for this project was an experience that was unforgettable and absolutely enriching.
