Are Dragons Alive?

We were wondering if there were "dragons" alive today, so we searched and we found out that there are manifestations of or references to dragons now.  The dragons that we found were the Tanystropheous, which was found by a farmer on his land and he killed it.  Then the body was stuffed and put in a local museum.  The other dragon we found was the plesiosaur, which was found dead along the beach of lake Erie.   Of course there are Komodo Dragons and many other lizard-like creatures that may have inspired myths about dragons.
