Recently, there was a Rover on Mars for the first time that could record data. Although it had some problems, scientists were able to retrieve photographs of the surface of Mars. There even appears to be evidence that water once existed on this red planet.
Due to the presence of water and microscopic organisms in the soil, scientists and NASA believe that there may be life on Mars. NASA is already searching for life with the rover on the red planet.
Already, there is a second Rover on Mars, but on a completely different side of the planet, so they can test the soil and other data on both sides of the planet at the same time. This was very helpful because NASA lost contact with the first Rover to touch down on Mars for a while. Luckily, they regained contact shortly after.
