The Myths
In the earliest tales of dragons, they were known as demons representing storms and rain. A severe storm was considered to be a fight between the sun god and a dragon. After a storm, when the sun began to shine again, people thought that their sun god had defeated the dragon. Dragons also liked to snack on maidens and cause destruction. Although the details in the story may change throughout each myth the basic idea is usually the same.
Appearance
The length of a full grown dragon is around 150 feet long. Most European dragons are either green or red. If they are red they are always blood red. If they are green they are usually a poisonous metallic green or a sickly blackish-green. They will always either have two or four legs, and each of these legs will have sharp and dangerous claws. They had sharp, jagged teeth. Their bodies were covered with tough, shining scales and they had a long coiling tail. Dragons had wings that were covered in skin, not feathers like a bird has. Some may have had horns, and they had huge, bulging eyes. They had a big snout and inside their mouths they had flickering, forked tongues. Dragons will either breathe fire or exhale poisonous gases. All in all, they were very dangerous to be around. They live anywhere, but they enjoy swamps and mountain caves the most.
Magical Qualities
Different parts of a dragon have different magical qualities. A dragon has two magic body parts with different powers. If you obtain these magical objects they will enable you to have certain magic quality.
If you slay a dragon and eat it's heart, you will be able to speak every language in the world. You will be able to speak both animal and human languages. If you obtain a dragon stone you can use the dragon stone to cure almost any illness in the world and will get other wonderful powers too. A dragon stone is a magical stone found in a dragon's head. However a dragon stone can only be used if you get it without hurting the dragon. The only way to get a dragon stone is to find one that a dragon dropped while it was flying.
