She has a long neck, small horns on the top of her head, and she has humps on her back. Nessie has been around for 250 years. Nobody has found any of her bones.
Thousands of people have claimed to have seen The Loch Ness monster. Some people have seen her on the land and water. Scientists think that The Loch Ness Monster could be many animals that are just very big. Some scientists think that Nessie could be an over grown water slug, monster eel, or a very large amphibian. The community of Loch Ness Lake have tried to send submarines down into the deep dark lake but no subs have succeeded because the lake is too muddy and it is impossible to see very far.
