The last

Hurricane Floyd (1999) brought intense rains and record flooding to the Eastern U.S. of the 56 people who perished, 50 drowned due to inland flooding!!!

 

 

 

Flooding

Flooding occurs when the discharge of a river is greater than the carrying capacity of its channel. All types of human activities related to the building of settlements, the construction of transport facilities, to the development of industry and to agricultural expansion appear to increase the run-off which means that the discharge of streams and rivers is affected!!!

The floods are very dangerous

But there are situations the floods are very beautiful
