We learn in the II. Rákóczi Ferenc Economics High School. We come from the 9/A class, this is a special class because we learn the subjects in English in the lessons, so this is bilingual.
Our Geographic teacher, Zsuzsa Pauleczki has introduced this competition. The theme is good and we have interesting ideas.
• First we decided what natural disasters are.
• The second step was to divide themes.
• After we do researching: in the Library, on the internet and at home.
• We wrote essays and our teacher controlled them.
• We typed the texts and designed the homepage.
• And finally we learnt how to make a home page step-by-step.

We have a meeting in the school when we discuss our problems and we design the web site. Niki’s parents suggested to have a meeting in their home and it was a good idea. We made last changing in word texts and we learnt how to make a homepage. Our assistant is Csaba Sreter, he is an adult and he shows how to make a homepage and we can easily learn it.

 

Who is the OPENERS OF THE WORLD?
Anita is the leader of the team, Niki is her assistant and her task is to control web making processes. Kriszta, Dóri, Fanni and Szilvi take part in writing and typeing essays and they give interesting ideas during web design.

   
Why NATURAL DISASTERS?
‘ We learn a lot of things about it. The nature can’t be calculated, we don’t stop it. Perhaps we can do something to avoid some natural disasters. We think that protection of the environment starts in everyday life. The ozone layer around the earth is getting so thin in places that there are holes in it. There is one enormous hole over the Antarctic. This hole is about big as the United States and it is growing every day. The holes in the ozon layer are made by certain gases, which we use every day. These gases are called CFCs and they are used in industry. The fast food restaurants, where we buy hamburger use a sort of plastic box to put hamburger in. This lightweight material is also used to make boxes for supermarket meat, for egg-boxes and so on. But unfortunately the biggest use of these dangerous CFCs is in spray cans. We think that states should forbid the us of such harmful gases. These gases change the normal cycle of the nature. The temperature is increasing, the sea level is also increasing or we suffer from floods. People influance the nature with artificial things and they inbalance normal cycling.’
