SPREAD OF MAD COW DISEASE According to World Health Organization, Mad Cow Disease can spread in several ways, for example meat products, live cattle, food containing beef, blood and blood products. Spread of mad cow disease can be dangerous to humans since humans can get sick and die. Also, outbreak of this disease can destroy beef industry and make millions of people lose their jobs. This can very much affect world economy and how much food is available.	Since there is no cure pharmaceutical companies need to continue their research. While they are trying to find it, we need to make all governments make laws to protect us. If every cow is tagged and we can trace where it comes from, than we would know if there is infection. Tracking each newborn cow is expensive, but much better than killing hundreds of thousand of cattle. In addition, we need to make sure our governments are testing the meat of every slaughtered cow. POVERTY AND HUNGER There are many places in world in which children and adults are starving. There are many wars, and last decade there has been a huge drought in many parts of the world. People need food and income to feed their families.	We cannot solve the world hunger at once. But we can take the first step. People can be given cattle and taught how to take care of them  People who own cattle have food and they can sell cow product to earn some money. They can breed their cattle and have a herd someday.	Participate in a very cool class project. We are doing it right now. It is called READ TO FEED. Students in our class find people and companies that will "pay" them to read books. Our teacher just got her package and it has a video tape, books, and lessons about how important the program is. It helps us read better and learn many things.
