Loki

Loki lived in Asgard.  He was the son of a giant. Sometimes the gods didn't know if he was on the gods' side or not.  Sometimes he helped the gods when they were in trouble, but a lot of the time he caused the trouble.
Even though Loki sometimes helped the gods, he was wicked.  Odin's son, Balder, was handsome and popular.  One day Balder was told that he would be killed, so the gods asked the things made of metal, the stones, animals, people, and all of the plants in the ground not to kill Balder.  Everyone and everything agreed, so the gods threw things at Balder for fun.  Soon Loki realized that there was a way to kill Balder and that was mistletoe because it grew in a tree instead of in the ground.  After he got the mistletoe he gave it to blind Hoder who threw it at Balder and killed him.  The gods begged Hel to raise Balder from the dead but every living creature had to cry for him.  Everything cried except for one giantess and it is to be believed that the giantess was Loki in disguise.
Loki had three monstrous children - Fenrir the wolf, the World Serpent, and Hel, the queen of the dead.
