Freyr was the Norse god of sun and the rain.HE supports peace, but he is also a fierce warrior. He is a ruler of the elven people.Freyr was also a god of harmony.He was called upon for fertile marriage.
He is married to the giantess Gerd.His sister is Freeja. He rides in a chariot pulled by a golden boar named Gullinbursti. It was a boar made by the craftsmen dwarves Brokk and Eitri. He also has a ship named Skidbladnir, which always sails directly where it needs to go.It is capable of shrinking itself to so it can fit into Freyr’s pocket.
