There are lots of different kinds of storms in the world.  They can occur at almost anytime or anyplace.  Storms occur by the Earth spinning which throws the air into curving paths.  The land forms such as mountains and plains cause the air to move slowly and then quickly.  That changes the direction that the air flows even more.  Storms are similar in the way that they all have huge clouds and strong winds.  In 1970 a storm hit in the city of Bangladesh, located in southern Asia, which killed about 500 thousand people.  Just five years before that another storm occurred at the same place, killing 25 thousand people.  Some storms may be dangerous and some may not, but either way I would advise you to be ready for anything because Mother Nature is full of surprises.
