The Sympleglades
The Sympleglades, also known as the Clashing Rocks, were two large rocks. These rocks were parallel, and whenever an object passed through them they would clash together, crushing the object in between them. Most sailors were not aware of this danger that lay before them whenever they sailed those waters. The Sympleglades were the cause of many deaths to seaman. Jason was warned by the king who ruled over the nearby land, and therefore created a diversion and passed through safely.
