Chapter Two - Ares

Ares was the god of war, and his Roman equivalent was Mars.  Ares was cruel, and carried a bloodstained spear.  Some say that his throne was covered in the skin of humans.

He didn’t receive a great amount of sympathy from Zeus when wounded by another hero during the Trojan War.    He was almost killed when stuffed into a jar by two giants.  Ow!  He was the father of Romulus and Remus.
