Chapter Twelve - Chimaera

Chimaera was a fire-breathing monster that decided its lair was going to be right in the middle of Lycia.
He was somewhat related to Cerberus, and Hydra.  He was even part snake, part goat, and part lion.  We are unsure how exactly this came into being, but it was so.  
King Iobates sent Bellerophon out on a quest to kill this monster, expecting no return.  In other words, he was trying in a roundabout way to kill Bellerophon.
 But, our friend Bellerophon obviously had found favor with the gods, because they gave him Pegasus.  
With some help from the gods and Pegasus he defeated the monster, and in this way Chimaera was killed.
