People have always wanted to know why things happen, for example, what makes the sun rise or why there are earthquakes.
The Greeks wondered also and, because they didn’t understand they made up the Olympians. Whenever something
odd happened they made up a story about the gods and goddesses which made the confusing part make sense.
This site is about the Greek gods and goddesses and a few other creatures from the minds of the Greeks.
