| Hospital school is a great
way to stay caught up with your classmates. |
|
Just because you're at the
hospital, doesn't mean you can't go to
school.
Many hospitals, but not all of them, have school rooms right at the
hospital. For example, at Children's
Hospital of Milwaukee, there are two school
sessions everyday. These classes are open to any child, first through
twelfth grade, even if you're only
at the hospital for a day! The teachers can come to your room or you could
go to the hospital school room.
These schools also have special hospital teachers.
When you go to the hospital school,
remember to bring your
backpack! School can entertain you when you're
bored. Hospital school is a good program, especially if you are at the hospital for a long
time; like cancer patients and people who
suffer from burns. This way you can stay caught up
with your friends at school and your homework! Learn more from the virtual
general hospital tour here: General
Hospital Tour.
