???
Hurricanes make storm surges, inland flooding and tornadoes. More people have died from inland flooding than the actual hurricane. The storm erodes beaches, damages coastal highways and erodes house foundations. Salt water enters into the inland areas and endangers public health. Communities hundreds of miles from the coast have heavy rainfall.
