Team Members
Team Earthshakers consisted of four incredible members: Jeff, Daniel, John, and Jueli. In order to complete this site, all four members met every 1-3 weeks at our homes to work diligently to complete the site. All four members have been friends since middle school. Since then, Jueli has moved to a different high school, but all four have quite obviously remained in contact. As all the team members are quite aware of each other's strengths and weaknesses, the team was able to work effectively through division of labor and collaboration. However, without the constant guidence and encouragement of our coaches, Ms. Collins and Dr. Miller, the team would never have been able to complete this webpage. Ms. Collins, one of Blair's most knowledgeable teachers of computer science, has taught us the basics of computer graphics and as the sponsor of Blair's web design club, made our participation possible. Dr. Miller, as our assistant coach and Biology teacher, has taught us much about the environment and the effects of natural disasters. As one of the chaperones on Blair's Wallops Island trip, she helped to teach Jeff, John, and Daniel about the tides and different habitats, all of which aided us in assessing the effects of the various natural disasters.

Jeff

Associated Natural Disaster: Electrical Storms
Role:
Jeff was the main programmer in the group, transferring our writings on to the site and creating the HTML documents. Through his collection of grammar skills, he also served as the site's editor, proofreading all the text before it appeared on the site. Jeff was responsible for writing the earthquakes and tornadoes sections and the about pages.

Daniel

Role:
Daniel was our main graphics editor. His clearly superior skills in Photoshop helped us to create the beautiful graphics that appear on the page. He also focused on much of the content, writing the electrical storms section, part of the monsoon section, and part of the volcanoes section.

Jueli was both one of the main content writers and our translator. She was responsible for the volcanoes section and all the safety pages. As she is completely fluent in both English and Chinese, she was responsible for the Chinese translations.
