Launched: Oct 6, 1990
Mission: Exploring the suns poles and comet Hyakutake
Progess: Oct 31 2001 Still exploring the suns poles
-Mars Global Surveyor
Launched: Nov 7, 1996
Mission: To take pictures and deep radar of the surface of Mars
Progess: Still orbiting and observing surface changes
-Cassini
Launched: Oct 15, 1997
Mission: To observe and take in readings about Saturn and Titan
Progress: Mission ends on Jun 30, 2008 (currently orbiting Saturn)
-Stardust
Launched: Feb 7, 1999
Mission: To collect interstellar dust off of Wild 2 comet and then return
to Earth with the samples.
Progress: Closing in on Wild 2 comet to start collection of dust from the tail.
-Mars Odyssey
Launched: Apr 7,2001
Mission: Detection of water ice and analyzes radiation environment on Mars
Progerss: Orbiting Mars while taking in data.
-Genesis
Launched: Aug 8, 2001
Mission: Collection of solar winds
Progress: Sept 8, 2004 Sample will return to earth
