The Jack Tales are really an oral tradition. That means that people tell the stories and not write them. Some of the Jack Tales are in books, but the best is to see someone tell the story.
There are some famous storytellers in North Carolina. Other states also have many skilled storytellers and maybe some of them will come to your school. All regions have their stories and this is just an example of stories in one region.
