     Pecos Bill was the cowboy hero of American Legend.  He invented roping, branding, and other cowboy skills.  He is a legendary hero who is from Texas, USA.  Some of the stories are funny.

    Who wrote Pecos Bill?  The Pecos Bill stories were made up by cowboys who like to tell wild and sometimes funny storied.  He like to brag and he did all kinds of crazy things.

     Pecos Bill had a horse named Widow Maker, but he could ride a mountain lion and tornado.  His whip was a rattlesnake.  Pecos Bill got married to Sluefoot Sue.
