Types of volcanoes:
There are four different types of volcanoes.
One is called a cinder-cone which
is built from particles of congealed lava shot out of a single vent.
Shield volcanoes are built by liquid lava flow.
Lava domes are relatively small.
The last one is a composite volcano or strato-volcano that
is typically steep sided.
