Inattention (lack of focused attention)

1. When someone just can’t follow directions. When their mind is always in the clouds, wandering.

2. When a person can’t focus or listen to certain things.

3. When someone is easily distracted from a given task.

4. When someone has trouble caring about small details.

5. When someone starts on a task but loses interest and doesn’t follow through.

6. When someone is very disorganized and can’t keep anything straight and tidy.

7. When someone easily loses things that are important.

8. When someone lacks the ability to handle mental challenges and gives up easily.

Hyperactivity (excessive movement)

1. When someone is constantly moving.

2. When someone is always getting up and out of their seat.

3. When someone spins around in their seat and plays with something.

4. When someone can’t be quiet.

5. When someone does unneeded physical activities.

6. When someone makes unnecessary noise while playing a game.

Impulsivity (lack of self-control)

1. When someone speaks or does something without thinking.

2. When someone puts themselves and maybe others in danger without thinking of the consequences.

3. When someone always wants to go first and won’t take turns with others.

4. When someone is really impatient.

5. When someone guesses what someone is going to say and rudely blurts out.

6. When someone constantly interrupts other
