Side Effects of Medications

Side effects tend to happen early in treatment and vary.

These are the most common:

• Decreased appetite or Weight loss
• Sleep Problems
• Headaches
• Jitteriness
• Social Withdrawal
• Stomach Aches

These side effects are less likely to happen:

• Dry mouth
• Dizziness
• Bad mood as medication wears off

These side effects are rare:

• Stuttering
• Increased in blood pressure
• Growth delay

Most of the side effects we have listed can be stopped by the following:

• Changing the medication dosage
• Adjusting medication schedule
• Using a different medication
