Ways to remember things:
Write yourself notes on sticky note pads and stick them somewhere you can be sure to see them.
Ask your parents to write the note and have them stick it somewhere where you will be able to remember it.
You should always put things in the same places to be sure you don't lose them. If you put your things in convenient places then you will always be able to find them again.
Set a timer to help you remember. For example, if you need to be at soccer practice in 30 minutes then set the timer.
If you have things that you need to do, do them at that minute. (Don't put it aside until the last minute!)
If you need to take something with you to a place then put that thing by the door so you won't forget to take it with you.
You might want to learn to ask yourself questions before you start running out the door. Questions like, Do I have everything I need?
Maybe think about the day ahead when you wake up. For example, you might say to yourself, Oh, I have swimming lessons after school so I need to remember my bathing suit.
Getting ready in the morning:
You should make sure you have everything ready the night before so it makes it easier on you and youre not running all over the place in the morning.
In the morning have a daily routine or a check list so you don't forget anything.
Try to eliminate distractions in the morning.
Have your parents make a special place to put all your things you will need in the morning.
Easy way to clean your room:
Put your dirty clothing in the hamper and clean clothing in the dresser.
Put your toys in a box and label it toy box.
Put books in a pile, shelf, or box and label it.
Put all school supplies in a box and label it school stuff.
Throw all trash and garbage in a garbage can - BE CAREFUL NOT TO
THROW OUT SOMETHING YOU MIGHT NEED.Put shoes in your closet or in a box and label it shoe box.
