		We are a team of fifth grade students from Pleasant Green Elementary in Magna, Utah. We are from two different classes, but for this project we met with Mrs. Hamilton for one hour three days a week over three months. We also came to the school during our off track time to work on the project and worked on our own time as well. Our web site is about slavery. We chose slavery because it sounded interesting and it was something that effected the world economy during the 1800’s. We all helped in the planning and design of the website. We divided the topics among us and we each researched, wrote, and helped create the web pages for each topic. We also made quilt squares, created puzzles, and found websites with online activities. We had to read six to seven books, learned how to use the internet, and keep track of our resources. We learned about slavery and what it was like to be a slave. We also learned how to make a website, how to work together as a team, and pull a project together. We had a lot of fun making this website!
