NASA Aeronautical and Space Agency was founded in the USA in 1958 which is the greatest and oldest in the world. It belongs to the state space activities, civil branches so the aviation too.

The most important institutions are:

- The Kennedy Space Flight Center in Florida.Its duty is to set up the carrier equipments and the start.

- Johnson Space Flight in Texas Houston is the control center of the space flights.

In the former Sovietunion there was not unified space agency, the civil and the military space activities were not separated from each other.

The Ministry of Engineering was responsible for the technical tasks.

Russia inherited the 85% of the space industry from Sovietunion and they established the Russian Space Agency-it is a state organisation- which deals with the space programmes and national relationship.Besides it exists the Glovkosmos that deals with the commercial utilazation of the space activities.
