 Fires are very unpredictable and can spring up a tree about 100 ft high in about 30seconds, pretty amazing huh.  A fire can reach speeds up to about 70mph.  Fires are very scary and some careless campers get lost and shoot up flares and that can sometimes hit a really dry part and can ignite a raging forest fire.  
That can  call up a smokejumper.  That supposedly caused the California fire.  Either that or kids playing with matches or a man having a cookout and his grill fell over, those are the three possibilities.  We also have our very own smokejumpers page.

            Fires are everybodys probem and here is a picture of a
firefighter trying to stop a raging forest fire you can also go to theFlannery page  If you have ever
seen a Volcano,  it can shoot out fire balls and sometimes hit forests and start a fire and that is why that man is
that firefighter is there.  It all started with a ball shot out of a Volcano.
