      Gingko Biloba

   This tree/herb is very old and will live probably up to 200,000,000 years. Scientists have proven that this tree is estimated to have been alive during back when the dinosaurs lived. The Gingko Biloba is native to Eastern China and was brought the Americas and Europe in the 18th century. Gingko Biloba was cultivated as a very special or sacred tree and is still used quite often in decor in temples of the worshippers of Buddha called monks.
    In the Traditional Chinese medicine it has been used for many different causes such as improving the heart and lungs, and treating coughs, asthma, and help decrease allergic reactions. This herb has been published in scientific studies over 1,000 times.
    This herb can grow to maximum of 125ft. tall.The species name "biloba" refers to the two distinct lobes, typical of the tree's leaves.It is resistant to different bugs and tree diseases, plus it resistant to most pollution
      The best quality of ginkgo leaves are obtained from plantations located in Europe and America.
It is hard and is harvested when the leaves are still green. It is then milled(another don't ask me....ask the smart person that made it up).Then it is dried and processed..

This herb is rarely seen or prepared as food because of its bitter taste.Reishi is officialy called "Ganoderma Lucidum" and especially in China it is also known as "Ling Zhi".
    Reishi is known for its help of stopping blood discuses and helping treat blood problems.Today its use is not only to help stop blood diseases, today some use as a steroid or as they like to call it a sports inhancer.
