Introduction to Web Site Features

Welcome again! We would like to inform you of the several features in this Web Site designed for your convenience so that you can experience the offerings of our creation.

Navigation

We have ensured that the navigation for this site is seamless and hassle-free. To access the main sections you can just click on the image map provided in the banner. Alternatively, there are also text links at the bottom of every page.

Moving around the sections, you will notice there is a sidebar, found in the right hand area, which is a truly handy resource tool! From this bar, you can access the following:

  • In this section
It is fine to lose yourself in the jungle while looking at the trees! From here you can browse through pages inside any section. Just click on any link and they will immediately go wherever you want.
  • Maps
We have two interactive maps for you to explore. First there is the Map of Australia which will tell you the locations of places mentioned in the content. Second there is the Interactive Coverage Map, showing the population coverage area in Australia for feral animals in the site.
  • Notepad
Click here to open up the popup window that enables you to take notes in the site on the go. It has an empty textbox in it. You can click Save so it remains there until your next visit or when you open it again.
  • Resources
This part has links to our Bibliography and Glossary.

Please note that you will also find links in the
content, which will link you either to a map, external
links, or popup to a page.

Images

Our images are wrapped around the text. You can view a
larger picture by clicking on the thumbnail or the
caption.

Interactive Games

There are a number of games that you can play in this
site. They are made from Java applet, JavaScript and Flash.
Make sure that your browser supports any or all of
these to have the best experience possible.
