LEGO Robotics

Aside from the FIRST robotics, St Edwards is also involved with a Lego robotics competition. More information on this will follow.

The Goal of Lego Robotics

The Goal of Lego Robotics is to build and program a Lego Mindstorms robot to react with light sources so that it will drive around an obstacle course on its own.  The programming is written using the Lego Mindstorms Robolab software.

Our Lego Robot

A few days ago, after months of hard work and planning, the Lego robot was put to the test, and ultimately failed.  It is unfortunate that this happened because the team had made such a good design.  The builders and assemblers say that the programming is what disarrayed the robot, while the programmer says that the builders inversed the input and output jacks.  So in light of whatever happened, our team still had a lot of fun and hope to use their experience to win next year.

This years LEGO robotics team consists of:
