Who was Woodrow Wilson ?President Wilson was born in Virginia in 1856. He was a son of a presbyterian minister. Wilson graduated from Princeton and then from the Virginia Law School. He completed his doctorate in education at Johns Hopkins University. After that he advanced upon the socio-economic ladder as a young professor of political science and became preisdent of Princeton in 1902. Wilson is one of the more active president in the history of the United States. During his administration many controversial reforms were passed. The League of Nations was the issue that killed him: he went on a campaign around the country to support the plan and suffered a stroke, which ended his political career. |
